Nokia RM451 Mobile Phone Gets FCC Approval
An as-yet unnamed Nokia mobile phone has made its appearance at the FCC. The phone, which carries the FCC ID RM451 (and is referred by the same name in the phone user manual), is approved for use on the EGSM 900, GSM 1800 and 1900 networks. It supports WAP 2.0
protocols including HTTP and SSL. It also supports MMS, email, instant messaging, presence enhanced contacts and remote synchronization.
The Nokia RM451 also includes 1GB of internal memory. It supports the Nokia Xpress audio messaging application, as well as the ability to create Flash messages. Flash messages are text messages that are instantly displayed upon receipt. Note that these messages are not automatically saved into the SMS application's Inbox.
The phone also supports Bluetooth. Tons of profiles are supported, including: SIM access, object push, file transfer, dial-up networking, headset, hands-free, service discovery application, generic access, serial port, and generic object exchange. No name, no word on the availability or pricing. But the phone looks stylish enough, so I won't be surprised if it is one of Nokia's fashion phones.
